In keeping with faddish, progressive educational methods, Westminster has assigned fourth graders the task of creating documentaries geared toward emotions that drive one to “take action”  While this sounds like a creative enterprise, it is a prime example of the methods of woke collaborative education.

Instead of creating films about anything interesting, fourth graders are asked to make films with all the heavy “take action” feels.  The idea of filming about overcoming adversity is a laudable one.  The Klingenstein Center-inspired “Love.Challenge.Lead.Change” asks students to show how someone or their group leads change in the community. The topics are typical of Westminster’s age-adjusted push to make school a heavy social justice crusade for all.
