Many of you have asked where we’ve been.  We are still here, with ears to the ground, and we’ve had many meaningful conversations with staff, students, and parents who were able to confirm that the destruction of Western culture, Christian faith, and meritocracy is alive and well on campus.  That hasn’t deterred many parents from salivating over the Westminster diplomas that, like those of other once-stalwart campuses, are increasingly meaningless and indistinguishable from the far less expensive diplomas available at woke public schools across the country.  Westminster is Target, the rest are Walmart.  Not a big distinction–just fancier clientele.

Did you know that Westminster employs eight DEI staff?  That’s right–there are eight people tasked with making sure your child is onboarded into the progressive, Marxist victim/oppressor narrative.  These are the killjoys who go around making sure that conversations, playground time, and Halloween costumes adhere to the strict code of leftism, with its efforts to outsmart human nature for a genderless utopia.  The DEI team helps to eradicate heterosexual, Christian, conservative, and Western “privilege” from as many venues and classrooms as possible.

As we have learned recently, this also impacts the hiring and promotion process at Westminster.  The first question on the commissar/administration’s mind is whether or not someone checks certain boxes.  Failing that, they must at least be a virtual-signaling, guilty white progressive–a devotee to the creed.  In keeping with this theme, Westminster announced that some of its key DEI enforcers will be moving into new positions.  The current Head of the Middle School will replace the venerable (or openly partisan) Robert Ryshke at the Center for Teaching.  These will be large shoes to fill, indeed.  Who can forget his wise observations about cronyism?

Other promotions include a middle school department chair’s new role as a dean.  This individual was documented in the Westminster magazine as admiring Communist Angela Davis as a “great leader.”  No word yet on whether he will rescind his admiring words now that it has been discovered that the Communist Party member and Black Panther is actually a descendent of a slave-owning man who came over on the Mayflower.

Shown below is a picture of the Communist (and now Mayflower-tainted) “great leader” along with the Westminster Magazine writeup of the faculty member who will now be a dean.

Keith Evans notes that the new positions will allow the school to focus on the “new challenges” in the teaching environment.  Westminster is always in flux– always pivoting to meet the vaguely-worded “challenges” that keep the elite educators perpetually stumped.  They must therefore “lead change” by pushing expansive genders and stirring up high-class racism.

What will the impact of the staff shuffle be?  Like our FAA, which is focused on woke nonsense while airliners have regular near-misses (or crash into buses), Westminster is largely committed to DEI fantasies. Therefore, we can expect similar near-misses, if not total disasters, in its effort to educate kids.  Westminster’s staff and graduates will be increasingly unskilled, fluent only in DEI–just like the middling zealots at laughingstock Ivy League schools like Harvard and Stanford.  Such a shame, but “the work” most go on.

A couple items were reported through anonymous submissions.  We will therefore report them as “alleged” events and let our audience decide, in the true spirit of freedom of thought and classical liberalism.

First, an unnamed teacher reported that he or she (or zim or zer?) was forced to show a DEI video during Pride week that was offensive and uncomfortable to students in the advisory.  The video did the usual multi-racial celebration of Pride.  An Asian teacher shared his “coming out” story.  When these DEI videos are shown, it has also been reported that another adult, acting as the DEI “minder”, is present, perhaps to ensure everyone stays on script. With a team of eight people dedicated to DEI, this is easy to do.

Second, it seems that Westminster allegedly hosted a “Wakanda Forever” movie event that only non-whites were invited to attend.  Whether or not this is actually legal is an interesting question.  It sounds like students were treated to the movie only if they were members of certain affinity groups, all of which require that students have a certain non-white skin color. At any rate, the screening was “allegedly” offered by Westminster’s DEI office and the Upper School Village to the following DEI groups: Cocoa Conversations, Cafe con Leche, Distinguished Hue-mans, Melanin Magic, and Future as Men (not white men). The event was said to be hosted at the AMC Parkway Pointe. If you have evidence to the contrary, please let us know, as we would never want to falsely report such a clear instance of racial discrimination if it didn’t actually occur.  Also, if the school wanted to treat students to a movie, why not treat everyone?  It was a great movie that any students could have enjoyed–even those nasty white ones.
